For its final performances at 719 Race St., Cincinnati Shakespeare Company chose William Shakespeare's The Tempest, one of the last plays the playwright penned alone in 1610-11,  Considered one of Shakespeare's greatest works.  Leading the cast is founding company member Nicholas Rose as magician Prospero who has landed on an island with his young daughter Miranda for twelve years after being overthrown as the Duke of Milan. Interested in regaining his dukedom, Prospero orchestrates a shipwreck amidst a storm, which open the play.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company officially opens their 2015-2016 mainstage season with the epic, dazzling, romantic comedy "Cyrano de Bergerac" based on the translation written by Anthony Burgess of the play written by Edmond Rostand playing September 11- October 3, 2015.  This production is directed by CSC Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips and features Cincinnati Shakespeare Resident Ensemble members Jeremy Dubin and Caitlin McWethy. The costume design for "Cyrano de Bergerac" is generously sponsored by 1919 Investment Counsel and Frost Brown Todd.

'One Man, Two Guvnors' promises to be a riotous bash of a production complete with a colorful cast of characters in a hysterical world of mistaken identities, love triangles, and live music not to be missed. This production is directed by CSC Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips and features a large cast of Cincinnati Shakespeare's Resident Ensemble members including Matthew Lewis Johnson, Justin McCombs and Caitlin McWethy joined on stage by a skiffle band of live musicians!
