The third season of Lincoln Center's White Light Festival continues in November with "The Spirit of the Body," a work by dancer/choreographer Malavika Sarukkai showcasing her exquisite interpretations of South India's classical dance, Bharatanatyam. Accompanied by four musicians from Madras, India, the performances are presented in the intimate setting of the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, longtime purveyors, custodians and distillers of a modern big band swing sound, are back and newly signed with Savoy Jazz. In celebration of twenty years bringing an irrepressible groove to the adoring masses, the band has recorded 'RATTLE THEM BONES'-their eighth studio album which is available today.

Tonight, August 31, the acclaimed singing group THE MIDTOWN MEN begin a three night run with the Houston Symphony. This marks the premiere of the symphonic version of the act's 2012/2013 "Sixties Hits" tour, which kicked off August 18th in Asbury Park.

ASO Presents welcomes Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater tonight, August 17, 2012 at 8:00PM. The southern California-based contemporary swing group will perform a variety of swing and jazz selections. The pit area will be a dance floor for the evening.

A JEW GROWS IN BROOKLYN, Jake Ehrenreich's acclaimed comedy and musical memoir, now playing Off-Broadway at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Theater (120 West 46th Street) will go on hiatus beginning tonight, August 16th. The show, directed by John Huberth, will resume performances on Thursday, October 11th. The show returned to New York on May 2 of this year, following a highly successful North American Tour and a book of the same name.

This summer, Tuacahn Amphitheatre presents the second production of Disney's Aladdin following its world premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre last year.
