THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly witty theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented at the Alex Theatre, 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, CA in a limited engagement on Saturday, January 15 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 16 at 3 p.m. with another performance just added due to popular demand on Sunday, January 16 at 7 p.m.

By popular demand, FREUD'S LAST SESSION is set to reopen on January 14th. The Off-Broadway premiere engagement of FREUD'S LAST SESSION, a new play by Mark St. Germain, opened on July 22, 2010 to rave reviews and immediately became a sellout sensation at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, 10 West 64th Street (at Central Park West). Due to a prior December booking commitment at the theatre, the limited engagement of FREUD'S LAST SESSION concluded performances as scheduled on November 28th. After the initial run continued to play to sellout houses in its final weeks, the producers made the decision to reopen the play as soon as the theatre would be once again available in January. FREUD'S LAST SESSION stars Mark H. Dold as C.S. Lewis and Martin Rayner as Sigmund Freud, under the direction of Tyler Marchant.

Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will close Jan. 9 after a successful nine-month run at the Westside Theatre, 407 West 43rd Street (nearly 300 performances including previews).

Palm Beach Dramaworks, announced its critically acclaimed production of Mark St. Germain's play, 'Freud's Last Session' will play an additional week of performances, slated through Sunday, February 13th at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). The extended playing week's performance schedule will be as follows: Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM; with Matinee performances on Wednesday at 3PM Saturday &Sunday at 2PM.

Steve Yockey's poetic play follows a young couple in the process of grieving, who tumble into an alternate reality, are forced to confront the ghosts that haunt them, and ultimately must decide what their afterlife will be. Directed by Kate Warner, afterlife: a ghost story will open for the press on Monday, January 17, 2011 and run through Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

SHADOWLANDS is based on the real-life story of C.S. Lewis, who unexpectedly falls in love with young American poet Joy Gresham. A romance with a bittersweet ending, by William Nicholson, with direction by Deanna Jent. The cast includes B.Weller, Terry Meddows, Richard Lewis, Michael Brightman, Jackson Mabry and Resident Artists Carmen Larimore Russell, Kelley Ryan as Joy Gresham and Gary Barker as C.S. Lewis.

The talented cast includes exciting new faces and a host of returning favorites, led by Pittsburgh's own Tom Atkins as Ebenezer Scrooge.

Lantern Theater Company will present Between Heaven and Hell: The Anthony Lawton Festival from Friday, December 3 - Sunday, December 19, offering an alternative to traditional holiday theater with works about spiritual life intended for all audiences - secular or religious.

West Palm Beach's longest residing professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, continues its 11th anniversary season with the Southeast premiere of Mark St. Germain's play, 'Freud's Last Session' on Friday, December 17th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard).
