Zion Theatre Company Presents THE LION, THE WITCH AN THE WARDROBE, 10/5-15

The popular story of magic and wonder The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is being remounted by Zion Theatre Company at the Castle Outdoor Amphitheater Theater in Provo on October 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, and 15. Perhaps Lewis's most recognizable work, ZTC's production of the nationally published adaptation was popular enough during its initial run in Salt Lake City this last summer to warrant a run for Utah Valley audiences.

Geva's 40th Anniversary Season Continues with FREUD'S LAST SESSION, 10/16-11/11

Geva Theatre Center's 40th Anniversary Season continues with Freud's Last Session by Mark St. Germain and directed by Skip Greer. This intoxicating debate between two great minds trying to solve life's great mystery begins performances on October 16 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through November 11.

FALLING Begins Performances Off-Broadway at Minetta Lane Theater Tonight, 9/27

Producers Terry Schnuck, James & Catherine Berges, Crystal Beuerlein and Michael F. Neidorff today announced that they will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Falling, the new play by Deanna Jent, that will begin an open-ended run tonight, September 27th at the Minetta Lane Theater (18 Minetta Lane, one block south of West 3rd Street, just off of Sixth Avenue). Opening Night is set for Monday October 15th (7PM).

SJ Rep Announces FREUD'S LAST SESSION Cast

With almost 60 years of theater experience between them, Ben Evett and J. Michael Flynn will be co-starring in the Mark St. Germain intellectual hit Freud's Last Session, directed by Stephen Wrentmore and co-produced with the Arizona Theatre Company.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION Features October Post-Show Talkback Discussion Series

FREUD'S LAST SESSION will feature a post-show talkback series in October to discuss Love, Sex, the Meaning of Life and the Existence of God at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport in Chicago. Winner of the 2011 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play, the Midwest Premiere of FREUD'S LAST SESSION has received rave reviews and three Jeff Award nominations, including Best Play. The production has been extended multiple times and is now in final weeks, ending its successful Chicago run on November 11. Written by Mark St. Germain, under the direction of Tyler Marchant, the production stars local theater legend, Mike Nussbaum (Emmy, Drama Desk Award, four-time Jeff Award winner, and recent Sarah Siddons Award recipient), as "Sigmund Freud" and Coburn Goss (Vigils at the Goodman Theatre, Dead Man's Cell Phone at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Off Broadway When the Messenger is Hot at 59E59) as "C.S. Lewis."

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, comes to San Jose for two performances only. The production will run at the San Jose Performing Arts Center, 255 Almaden Boulevard, today, September 22 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

SJ Rep Presents FREUD'S LAST SESSION, 10/11-11/4

Freud's Last Session by Mark St. Germain will be taking the stage at San Jose Rep next month. The thought-provoking, one-act play presents an imagined debate between two colossal, charismatic thinkers of the modern age: legendary psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, and young professor and author, C.S. Lewis. Directed by Stephen Wrentmore, Freud's Last Session is a co-production with the Arizona Theatre Company.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to New York City by popular demand for five performances only. The limited engagement will run at the NYU Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place (LaGuardia Place and Washington Square South), Thursday, November 15 at 8 p.m.; Friday, November 16 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, November 17 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m; and Sunday, November 18 at 3 p.m. In 2010 THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS was anine-month hit at New York's Westside Theatre.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Returns to Irvine Barclay Theatre, Now thru 7/15

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, returns to Irvine by popular demand for a limited engagement at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive, adjacent to University of California Irvine, from tonight, July 12 through July 15. The production sold out five performances at the same venue in July 2011.
