DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America today announced that "MADAGASCAR LIVE," DreamWorks Theatricals' first-ever live family touring show, will play six performances at the Hobby Center in Houston, February 12-13.

DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are pleased to announce that Shrek The Musical with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori, directed by Jason Moore and Rob Ashford, will play Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre for one week only, February 1-6, 2011.

Yesterday Lee Rocker, bassist and vocalist for the Grammy nominated band The Stray Cats performed "Rockabilly Boogie" in celebration of his final performance with the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical sensation.

The tour of the current smash hit Broadway production of WEST SIDE STORY will close at the Fox Theatre from January 31, 2011 as part of the Broadway Across America - Atlanta 2010-2011 season. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Broadway's new hit musical, announces that Lee Rocker, bassist and vocalist for the Grammy nominated band The Stray Cats, will participate in a special on stage jam session during his final performance with the show Sunday, January 30 at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).

CAPA, Broadway Across America, and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of MARY POPPINS will go on sale to the public on Thursday, February 3, at 9am.

The Omaha premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Friday, January 28, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, February 13, 2011.
