CAPA and Broadway Across America present RIVERDANCE at the Palace Theatre (34 W. Broad St.) February 18-20. Show times are Friday, February 18, at 8pm; Saturday, February 19, at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, February 20, at 1pm and 6:30pm.

Tony Award nominee Will Swenson recently chatted with Broadway Beat at PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT's press day. In the interview, Swenson talked about everything from his fabulous character to his fabulous castmates.

Casting has been announced for the Broadway production of The Royal Court Theatre's JERUSALEM, the critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning play by Jez Butterworth and starring Tony and Olivier Award-winner Mark Rylance (La Bête, Boeing-Boeing). The production, directed by Ian Rickson, will open on April 21, 2011 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews begin April 2. The production will play a limited 16-week engagement.

Music of many generations highlights the 2010-2011 Broadway Across America - Boston season

Tony Sheldon, star of the exciting new Broadway transfer PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, recently chatted with Broadway Beat about the long journey that he has taken with the show. Sheldon reveals, 'I did the very first workshop when it was just a 10 day experiment to see whether the film would transplant onto the stage. And by the end of the 10 days when we presented it, we realized this show has legs. So that was when I actively committed to wanting to do the show, but then I had to audition- along with everybody else.'

The 2010-2011 national tour of the new Broadway production of GREASE™ opens in Indianapolis at Clowes Memorial Hall, March 22nd and runs through the 27th as part of the Broadway Across America 10/11 Season.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the hit Broadway musical, announces that Jared Mason will assume the role of Jerry Lee Lewis at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street) starting Tuesday, March 15.

HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will play Heinz Hall for a limited engagement February 15-20, 2011.
