VH1's five-time Emmy Award-nominated documentary series BEHIND THE MUSIC returns to focus on eight of today's most influential icons in the music world.

GLEE gave fans a first listen to five songs from Season 4's first two episodes on its Facebook page today, Sept. 5. The one-time-only event was hosted by Kevin McHale and Darren Criss.

MTV today announced that the '2012 MTV Video Music Awards' will feature 90 seconds of exclusive footage from the final installment of Summit Entertainment's THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 during its LIVE telecast from STAPLES Center on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the cast of the film will be on-hand to introduce the footage. Watch a promo for the television event below!

MTV announced international sensation and five-time 2012 VMA nominee, Rihanna will heat up the 'MTV Video Music Awards' stage with a performance like never before, LIVE from STAPLES Center tonight, September 6 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

With the show just a few days away, MTV announced new additions to the performance line-up for the '2012 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS including Rihanna kicking off the VMAs with A$AP Rocky, Nicki Minaj will perform as a surprise guest with a previously announced VMA artist, 2 Chainz taking the VMA stage for the first time ever, and Lil Wayne with the worldwide premiere performance of his brand new single.

GLEE returns to television on September 13 with a handful of new castmembers, including: Dean Geyer as Brody Weston, Melissa Benoist as Marley Rose, and Becca Tobin as Kitty, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker. TVGuide.com reports that Marc Anthony is heading for the new season of FOX's THE X FACTOR in the role of a mentor. The singer will join judge Simon Cowell's team when the competition returns for its second season.

The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, will welcome back acclaimed entertainer Lypsinka for a special two-week engagement from tonight, September 4 to 16 to celebrate Lypsinka's 30th anniversary. She will recreate the widely popular show 'The Passion of the Crawford' - a fab fantasia about the refraction of celebrity and addiction to fame - for the first time in the Bay Area in more than five years.

Jacob Yates and Jessica Hendy met while performing in a regional production of NEXT TO NORMAL. Yates was the Cellist/Keyboard 2 for the production and Hendy played the lead role of Diana. Electric Zoo: New York's Electronic Music Festival announces the addition of special guest Rusko to the Hilltop Arena on Saturday, September 1, 2012. The dubstep innovator returns to Electric Zoo after his smash performance last year, joining the world's top electronic music talent over three days on Randall's Island Park, New York City, today, August 31, September 1 and September 2, 2012.

A new promo for FOX's THE X FACTOR has been released and focuses almost entirely on incoming mentor Britney Spears who, along with pop star Demi Lovato will join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid at the judge's table for the upcoming season. Check out the new promo below!
