The Boxmasters Sign with APA Nashville

The Boxmasters, the one-of-a-kind eclectic band whose many musical influences come together to create their own unique sound, has signed with APA. Their upcoming fourth album, entitled Somewhere Down The Road, is set to be released later this year. The band is comprised of Teddy Andreadis, who has shared the stage with such legendary artists as Guns N' Roses, Carole King, Alice Cooper, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and B.B. King, has also served as a long-time counselor/mentor at Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy camps, and released his solo album, 'Innocent Loser,' in 2012; Grammy-winning engineer, J.D. Andrew, whose worked with such icons as The Rolling Stones, Guy Clark and Kanye West; Nashville singer/songwriter Brad Davis, who has shared the microphone with the likes of Merle Haggard, Sheryl Crow and Kenny Rogers; and Bud (a.k.a. Billy Bob) Thornton who, in addition to his successful film and television career, has recorded four solo albums, as well as tribute records to Earl Scruggs and June Carter Cash.

Sounders/Galaxy Match Set for NBC this Weekend

A blockbuster match between the Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy will decide the winner of the 2014 Supporter's Shield (most regular-season points in MLS) this Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. For the first time in MLS history, the two teams in the race for the Supporters' Shield will face each other in their final regular season game.

In 1985, Larry Kramer's play 'The Normal Heart' debuted at The Public Theatre, and sent shockwaves through the theatrical community. The play was a current, powerful look at the quick-spread of the AIDS epidemic that was raviging the gay community in New York. In The New York Times, theatre critic Frank Rich said of the initial production, 'There can be little doubt that 'The Normal Heart' is the most outspoken play around - or that it speaks up about a subject that justifies its author's unflagging, at times even hysterical, sense of urgency.'

NBC Sports' MLS Coverage Picks Up this Weekend with L.A. at New England

NBC Sports Network's Major League Soccer coverage this weekend features the New England Revolution (4-4-4, 16 pts.) hosting the Los Angeles Galaxy (6-4-2, 20 pts.) and the return of MLS 36. Coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET this Sunday, June 2, with a behind-the-scenes look at the Los Angeles Galaxy and U.S. National Team defender Omar Gonzalez, and continues at 4:30 p.m. ET with live coverage of the match.
