In comes Company, one of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim's most beloved musicals, produced at Signature Theatre for the first time in twenty years and directed by Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer. This year, for the first time, theatre lovers in Washington and around the world were able to watch the nomination announcements live via webcast at theatrewashington.org, Facebook, or on the Livestream. Be prepared for something very different from the typical musicals in Olney's historic 75th year history.

On March 2, 2013, Olney Theatre Center will host the Diamond Gala, a black-tie fundraising event celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Olney Theatre Center. The event will include a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, live musical performances from Olney favorites George Dvorsky (Annie, The Sound of Music), Jessica Lauren Ball (1776, Grease, The Sound of Music, Cinderella), Donna Migliaccio (The Sound of Music, Cinderella), Caitlin Deerin (Annie), Parker Drown (Grease, Cinderella, Spring Awakening), MaryLee Adams (Spring Awakening) and Bobby Smith (Annie, The Sound of Music, Little Shop of Horrors), as well as silent and live auctions. Funds raised from the event will support Olney's artistic and educational programming which reaches over 100,000 audience members a year in Maryland and nationwide.

Signature Theatre pulls some of DC's brightest stars into the spirit of the holidays with this year's original production of Holiday Follies. The popular series, now in its third season, will feature performers Bobby Smith (See What I Wanna See, Show Boat), Eleasha Gamble (Chess, Les Miserables), James Gardiner (The Boy Detective Fails, [title of show]), and Rachel Zampelli (Dying City, Brother Russia), under the direction of Walter Ware III. With a cabaret set list built to change from night to night, Signature's forecast calls for a special week of wintry mix.

Cinderella runs on Olney Theatre Center's Mainstage from November 14 to December 30, 2012 with memorable songs such as "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible," and "Ten Minutes Ago".

The temperature is dropping. The days are getting a little shorter and ImprovBoston's annual splatter musical, Gorefest is about to rise again. The 10th Annual edition of IB's Halloween musical and comedy extravaganza, 28 Days Latte, runs tonight, October 24-31.

ImprovBoston's Election Show! returns for seven shows from Friday, November 2-Tuesday November 6. On the final night, audiences can stay at the theatre and watch the election returns.
