Four years ago, audiences were first introduced to the zany on-air personalities of the 50's radio station WWOB

The story of Mr. Willowby, his amazing Christmas tree, and all of his furry friends has been around since author Robert Barry's book, Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree, was first published in 1963. It tells the story of Mr. Willowby's magnificent Christmas tree.

The 2009 Season marked The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 15th Anniversary Season. For the year, WOB brought many area premieres to the stage including a regional theatre premiere production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer and Mel Brooks' The Producers. Capping off the year, WOB has added a New Year's Eve special event to the calendar to celebrate the end of 2009 and arrival of 2010.

The show broke countless box office records and won every theatre award imaginable, including 12 Tonys in 2001, more than any production in history. It began as a movie, made its way to Broadway, and then found itself back on the silver screen. Now, the smash-hit musical comedy The Producers comes to the Frederick stage for the very first time!

One of the most unique entertainment venues in the area, combining fine dining with first-class live theatrical performances, the Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is ready to unveil its 2010 Season. After the success of its 15th Anniversary Season in 2009, with a line-up that included a regional theatre premiere production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer, Andrew Lloyd Webber's mega-sensation Cats, and the area premiere of Mel Brook's The Producers, WOB is setting its sights on fun and laughs for the 2010 Season.

Everyone wants to be the next Sherlock Holmes or Gil Grissom from CSI, and at Way Off Broadway, they have the chance to become a part of the evening's activities when the audience is asked to help solve the case.

Coming this summer to Frederick is Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. Continuing Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 15th Anniversary Season, Cats will open Friday evening, June 19th following WOB's regional theatre premiere production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer.
