After more than 35,000 submissions, PEDIGREE was awarded the coveted Silver Lion in branded entertainment at the 2013 Cannes Festival for Creativity for the documentary, 'ANNIE'S Search for Sandy.' The 2013 Cannes Lions received submissions from creative agencies and advertisers representing more than 90 countries around the world. 'ANNIE'S Search for Sandy,'hosted by Al Roker, was produced by Al Roker Entertainment and ANNIE The Musical LLC and was sponsored by PEDIGREE Food for Dogs.
The National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA) selected 62 finalists from tens of thousands of students to compete for the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress, last night at the Minskoff Theatre. Hosted by the Tony Award-nominated stars of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana, the fifth annual performance showcase featured dynamic ensemble and solo performances exclusively from the musical theater cannon. The timeless classic family musical The Wizard of Oz, based on the beloved 1939 film starring Judy Garland, kicks off the 2013 Music Circus season with an extended run at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from today, June 21 - 30. Filled with favorite songs like 'Over the Rainbow' and 'We're Off to See the Wizard,' fans of all ages will once again be delighted as they follow Dorothy, Toto, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion on an enchanting adventure along the Yellow Brick Road to Oz. The Music Circus production will be the Royal Shakespeare Company version of the musical, which was first presented at the Barbican Centre in London in 1988 and is based closely on the classic film.
