To celebrate the third anniversary of the first performance of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the production is rolling out a series of videos of dramatic readings of selections from Glen Berger's new tome, Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History. In this second installment, New York Post columnist Michael Riedel, who has vocally been rooting against the production (which grossed more than $1.4 million last week) since the very beginning, reads a passage about himself.

Three Cat Productions presents the world premiere production of Tell Me When It Hurts in partnership with the Chicago Park District's Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan Road (Edgewater by Granville el stop on Red Line). Stripped of his hospital and rejected by his love, Dr. Guy Better is in crisis. All appears lost with his love interest, the intrepid scientist Kit Smart, who is in the midst of her own struggles for a sound mind and scientific success.

NJPAC will welcome Newark's own virtuosic tap dancer Savion Glover for a special holiday presentation featuring the music of Duke Ellington on Sunday, December 8 at 4 pm in Prudential Hall. Glover, who holds the unofficial title of Newark's tap master, will be joined by singers Lizz Wright and Priscilla Baskerville, the David Berger Jazz Orchestra, and Dance Theater of Harlem students. Adding to this magical afternoon -- 48 students from the Arts High Advanced Choir will perform David Berger's arrangement of Ellington's "Sing Out".

The romantic comedy Parfumerie, adapted by E.P. Dowdall from the Hungarian play Illatszertar by Miklos Laszlo, will have a rare revival as the first theater production of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (Lou Moore, Executive Director), for a limited, 29 performance engagement November 26 to December 22. The production, directed by Mark Brokaw, who is currently represented on Broadway with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, centers on a romance that unfolds through love letters, a perfect homage to the historic Beverly Hills Post Office. SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will partner with Givenik.com to participate in New York Cares Annual Coat Drive. When patrons purchase tickets to the high-flying Broadway spectacular through Givenik.com during the months of November and December, 5% of the total sale will be donated to New York Cares. Additionally, the Foxwoods Theatre will serve as a New York Cares Coat Drive public collection site. Now through December 31, 2013 patrons are encouraged to drop off coats outside the box office at 213 West 42ndStreet between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and during show hours on performance days.
