"Clybourne Park"-the wickedly funny and provocative play by Bruce Norris about how the different faces and shades of racism can make a straightforward real estate transaction anything but-will be the third production of the Hampton Theatre Company's 30th anniversary season. The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play opens on March 12 at the Quogue Community Hall and will run through March 29.

The production stars James M. Armstrong (Member of the Workshop Theater), Heather Cunningham (The Runner Stumbles/Off Broadway), Shaun Bennet Fauntleroy (Advance Man/Gideon Productions), Laura Killeen (Sweeney Todd/London), Daryl Lathon (Volume of Smoke/Playwright Clay McLeod Chapman), Elise Rovinsky (Women and War/Bleecker Street Theater), Ben Schnickel (Billy Witch/Astoria Performing Arts Center) and Ric Sechrest (The Desk Set/Spoon Theatre).

The Long Island premiere of 'The Drawer Boy,' Canadian playwright Michael Healey's award-winning play about two farmers whose lives are turned upside down when a young actor comes to visit, will be the third production of the 2012-2013 Hampton Theatre Company season. Moss's (punkplay, House of Gold) BILLY WITCH, choreographed by Wendy Seyb (The Pee Wee Herman Show, Yeast Nation), with original music by Nathan A. Roberts, musical direction by Brenna Sage and directed by Erik Pearson (Billy Witch, Studio 42). BILLY WITCH will play a limited engagement at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria, NY. Entrance on 30th Road.) Performances begin tonight, November 1 and continue through Saturday, November 17. Opening Night is Saturday, November 3 (8 p.m.).

The Theater Company (TTC) is planning for 'a happy New Year,' as the song goes, as they present Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer-prize winning Broadway musical RENT this coming February 2010.

New productions of Jonathan Larson's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT are about to open in Manila, the San Francisco East Bay and New Jersey. And all these productions happen to feature Filipino and Filipino-American actors in their roster of young and hip cast members.
