The Bay Street Theatre announced classic rock fun just in time for Columbus Weekend October 7-9.

The Picture Show at Bay Street Theatre presents to upcoming classic Beatles films. A HARD DAY'S NIGHT will be shown on the big screen on Friday, October 7 at 8 pm.

The Civilians (Steve Cosson, Artistic Director), the award-winning New York-based theatre company known for projects investigating real-life topics, announces the members of its 2011-2012 R&D writer's group, comprised of theater artists interested in creating investigative theater.

The fun continues this fall at Bay Street Theatre with The Picture Show presentation of CITIZEN KANE on Saturday, October 1 at 8 pm. The Orson Welles classic is celebrating its 70th Anniversary. A revised version of Joe Pintauro's 1991 play RAFT OF THE MEDUSA, being produced Off-Broadway this fall by the Barefoot Theatre Company, will kick off the 9-week Stripped Festival this fall with performances October 8 to 22 at Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce St.) in Greenwich Village.

THE LEGENDS SERIES is returning Bay Street Theatre on October 8 at 8 pm. Joe Lauro returns with an all new program and totally new version called LEGENDS OF ROCK VOLUME 3 featuring amazing clips of THE BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, JIMI HENDRIX, THE WHO, THE DEAD, JANIS JOPLIN and many more!

Bay Street Theatre has announced that The Jam Session will host a benefit jazz concert for the theatre's Annual Appeal on November 10 at 8 pm.

The world's premier Streisand impressionist Steven Bringberg has performed on national TV shows The Rosie O'Donnel Show, Sally Jessy Raphael and at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, London's Royal Albert Hall (with Elton John and George Michael), as well as touring regularly with symphonies with Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award- winning composer Marvin Hamlisch (who wrote the Streisand classic The Way We Were) will also be performing songs from Streisand's just released CD What Matters Most and other classics from her 50 year recording legacy.
