Bay Street's FIFTH OF JULY begins previews Tuesday, July 6th through Friday, July 9th, with opening night Saturday, July 10th. The show runs Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm, with matinees on Wednesdays at 2pm and Saturdays at 4pm except during preview week. On Tuesday, July 13th following the performance there will be a talkback with the actors. The show will close on Sunday, August 1st. Please note that this performance will contain partial nudity. Producers Jed Bernstein and Adam Zotovich announced today that Tony Award-winners James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave will return to the New York stage this Fall to star opposite one another in the Broadway Premiere of Alfred Uhry‘s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Driving Miss Daisy. Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?), Driving Miss Daisy will begin performances on October 7, 2010, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), with an official opening on Monday, October 25, 2010.

Come and 'Rock the Dock' for Bay Street Theatre at the 18th annual Summer Gala Benefit Bash on Saturday, July 17th, taking place once again on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Bay Street's Summer Gala, recognized as 'Best of the Best - Event of the Year' (Dan's Papers, 2007, 2008 and 2009), has several new twists this year that are sure to keep guests entertained all night long! Mario Cantone (Sex & The City) will bring his comedic talent as Host to this star-studded event which will include cocktails, dining, dancing, and auction all set against the background of the stunning bay and moonlit sky. Guests can enjoy either a sit-down dinner or a special new feature this year; a lounge seating area in which revelers will receive passed tapas throughout the evening. Both the dinner and tapas will be catered by Sterling Affair Caterers. Music and entertainment will be provided by celebrity DJ Tom Finn, named 'The King of Spin' by Avenue Magazine. Finn has kept the dance floor bustling at fabulous parties including the MTV Music Awards, Oprah's 50th Birthday Party, and even The White House Millennium Bash!
