AN EVENING OF MUSIC AND COMEDY XI Set for 10/8 at Don't Tell Mama

Michael Martinez is proud to announce An Evening of Music and Comedy XI at Don't Tell Mama on October 8, 2013. This showcase and variety show will feature singers Gabriella Marie Antonino, William Hartery ( Disney's Villains Tonight), Natasha Repass, Michelle Ricciardi and Katherine Robinson (Disney's Villains Tonight, Sesame Street Live! ). Producer Michael Martinez has previously presented showcases at Birdland, Don't Tell Mama and T. Schreiber Studio in New York City. These showcases feature emerging stars of comedy, music, and theatre. Michael has also promoted concerts and productions in venues across the country including B.B. Kings Blues Club, Carnegie Hall, Joe's Pub, La Mama Theatre, Le Poisson Rouge, The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

CABARET LIFE NYC: For Kids With HIV, Help Is On The Way Thanks to Joseph Macchia's Cabaret Cares Shows

On September 21, Macchia--who works full-time as a florist by day and part-time as a manager at the Metropolitan Room by night--will celebrate his 'Fierce and Fabulous' 40th birthday with the launch of Season Eight of Cabaret Cares. Over the first seven years of the variety series, now staged at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, Macchia has raised more than $80,000 to help children from infants to teenagers suffering from HIV and AIDS. During the first year, funds raised through the Cabaret Cares benefit shows helped 22 children. Now Macchia's Help Is On The Way charity-which is run out of Joseph's home and has no salaried staff--services around 650 kids, supplying everything from school backpacks to weeks at a summer camp.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT'S Michael Grimm Set for Harris Center/Three Stages, 9/22

With his soulful voice, trademark fedora and earthy, Southern manner, Michael Grimm charmed millions of viewers as a contestant on Season Five of NBC's popular America's Got Talent. Parlaying his substantial singer-songwriter appeal into a first-place finish, Michael took home the one-million-dollar prize and headlined the first-ever national America's Got Talent Tour. Now he's hitting the road with his Grimm's Fairytale Tour, which tells the rollercoaster story of his life in song. Opening for Grim is Austin's legendary Bill Carter.

Danny Kalb to Play Saint John's Lutheran Church, 9/20

Danny Kalb, Guitarist extraordinaire, plays the traditional blues of rural America. He will be performing with the members of his trio: Danny Kalb (guitar); Larry Nelson (bass); Mark Ambrosino (drums). The performance takes place in the Greenwich Village sanctuary of Saint John's Lutheran Church, 81 Christopher Street, NYC. This concert is the first of the "Legends" series by the Folk Music Society of NY (aka Pinewoods Folk Music Club). B.B. King to Play Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Hall, 12/8

Legendary blues guitarist B.B. King makes his long awaited Segerstrom Center debut on Sunday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m. in Segerstrom Hall. One of the most influential bluesmen of all time, King began his career as a professional musician in the 1940s and he continues to perform more than 100 concerts each year. He has recorded more than 60 albums and has received dozens of awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Kennedy Center Honor, 15 Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Grammy.

SiriusXM Presents Metallica Live at the Apollo Theater

Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that Metallica will perform at Harlem's world famous Apollo Theater for the first time at a special invitation-only concert for SiriusXM subscribers on Saturday, September 21 at 8:30 pm ET.

John Mayer's New Album PARADISE VALLEY Released Today

Paradise Valley, the latest album from Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician John Mayer, will be released today, August 20. Third Annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival Set for Today

The third annual Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival returns today, August 17th with ten hours of free music on the beautiful Green in downtown Morristown, New Jersey.
