LA RUTA - a new play by Ed Cardona Jr. commissioned by Working Theater in 2011 -- will debut in an Off-Broadway production by Working Theater with preview performances starting April 10th and an official press opening on April 18th. Tamilla Woodard, known for her innovative site-specific work (HOTEL PROJECT), will direct the production. It has been announced by Mark Plesent, Working Theater's Producing Artistic Director.

The Open Fist Theatre Company presents THE GOOD THIEF, written by Conor McPherson and directed by Scott Paulin (Foote Notes, St. Nicholas) and starring Michael McGee. Mr. Paulin and Mr. McGee's previous collaboration on the McPherson play St. Nicholas was a critically-acclaimed endeavor at the Stephanie Feury Theatre. Amphibian Stage Productions today announced that Jaime Castañeda will direct its upcoming production of The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs by Mike Daisey, starring Steven Young. The New York-based director graduated from Fort Worth's Texas Christian University and has directed extensively in the DFW area, most recently The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Diety by Kristoffer Diaz at Dallas Theater Center, and he returns once again to helm this regional premiere.
