Additional casting has been announced for LUCKY GUY on Broadway. The production stars two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, making his Broadway debut, in a new play by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe.

On this morning's TODAY show, actress Scarlett Johansson stepped in for weatherman Al Roker who was suffering from a case of laryngitis. Host Matt Lauer questioned her expertise in the field to which she responded, 'I have a lot of experience with weather. Yes,' adding that it was actually a 'dream come true.' Contagious Laughter LLC. welcomes Roxie Lucas and Kevin O'Donnell to the cast of the World Premiere of LET'S KILL GRANDMA THIS CHRISTMAS by Brian Gianci, directed by John Dapolito. LET'S KILL GRANDMA THIS CHRISTMAS will begin performances tonight, November 25; it will celebrate its opening on Monday, December 3 and will run through January 6, 2013 at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street).

Now, in the tradition of offering 'edgier' entertainment in this slot, Rogue Machine launches the World Premiere of Rob Mersola's Dirty Filthy Love Story tonight, November 24th at 8pm (no 10pm show that night).

Famed novelist and screenwriter Elmore Leonard will visit Oakland University for an evening of stories and discussion on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Leonard will be joined by his son, Peter - also a novelist - for an entertaining look at 'The Family Business,' which includes all the novels, screenplays and television scripts they have written and their experiences with Hollywood.

Happy Birthday, Scarlett Johansson! Johansson won a Tony for her Broadway debut in the Arthur Miller play A View from a Bridge opposite Liev Schreiber. Johansson was recently seen in the worldwide box office hit The Avengers. She has also recently wrapped production on the independent film Under The Skin for director Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast) playing the lead role and plays Janet Leigh in the upcoming film Hitchcock. She will soon return to Broadway opposite Benjamin Walker in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Violinist and artistic director Gil Morgenstern's acclaimed Reflections Series continues the 2012-2013 season tonight, Monday, November 19 at 7:30pm with Nacht und Traume, "Night and Dreams." Celebrating five years of innovative programming in its intimate home at WMP Concert Hall (31 East 28th Street, NYC), Morgenstern will be joined by Tony Award Winner Maryann Plunkett and pianist Donald Berman.

The Northern Stage Company of White River Junction, Vermont announced today that the Board of Directors and Founding Artistic Director Brooke Ciardelli have agreed that the current production will be her last with the company. Ms. Ciardelli has led the artistic team at Northern Stage since its formation in 1997, guiding it through 16 seasons of critically acclaimed professional theater. She has served in many capacities for the Company including Artistic Director since its inception, director of more than 50 percent of the main stage productions, as well as serving as Managing Director and CEO for many seasons and as a member of the Board of Directors.

The 1950s is considered by many to be the pinnacle of American Theater. It was the decade that saw Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE, Tennessee Williams's CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, and Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT. But while Miller, Williams, and O'Neill set the theater world ablaze with highly dramatic pieces featuring unforgettable characters, playwright William Inge took a completely different approach by writing BUS STOP, a simplistic slice-of-life drama about an assembly of strangers and the secrets each of them wish to hide. While it may not be as well-known or as important as the aforementioned pieces by his colleagues, Inge's little play, currently presented at St. Edward's University's Mary Moody Northern Theatre, is at times just as moving.

Richard Eyre directs the world premiere of Nick Dear's The Dark Earth and the Light Sky at the Almeida Theatre. Running until the 12 January 2013, with press night tonight, 15 November 2012. Designs are by Bob Crowley with lighting by Peter Mumford and sound by John Leonard. The cast is Pip Carter (Edward Thomas), Pandora Colin (Eleanor), Ifan Huw Dafydd (Philip Thomas), Shaun Dooley (Robert Frost), Hattie Morahan (Helen Thomas) and Dan Poole (Bott/Major Lushington).
