The Heroes star has auditioned for the role of Ariel Moore - a part for which Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough is also reportedly seeking - in the musical remake of Footloose, E! News reports. Lori Singer played the character of Ariel in the original film.

Newcomers to the cast include Gavin Creel, Caissie Levy and Sasha Allen, who join the rest of the tribe, who are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer. HAIR begins preview performances on Friday, March 6 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC) with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 31, 2009.

The latest HAIR cast members to be confirmed are Jackie Burns (Black Boys Trio, Tribe), Kaitlin Kiyan (Black Boys Trio, Tribe), Nicole Lewis (White Boys Trio, Tribe), Megan Reinking (Black Boys Trio, Tribe) and Saycon Sengbloh (Abraham Lincoln, White Boys Trio, Tribe), all of whom are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer.

The 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade took place yesterday in Manhattan, Broadway favorites such as Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth joined the big event. BroadwayWorld took a break from the turkey and stuffing and captured all the Thanksgiving fun with our cameras!
