Point Foundation Honors Jane Krakowski with Courage Award, 4/19

Point Foundation (Point), the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit, today announced the recipients of its Courage, Inspiration and Legend Awards. 30 Rock star and Tony Award winner (Nine) Jane Krakowski, will receive the Point Courage Award; Citi will receive the Point Inspiration Award; author, political strategist and civil rights activist David Mixner will receive the Point Legend Award. The awards will be presented at Point's annual New York benefit, Point Honors, which will be held on April 19, 2010 at 583 Park Avenue in New York City.

Last week, rehearsals began for the upcoming Garden of Dreams Spring Talent Show, which will be held on April 28 at Radio City Music Hall and hosted by Whoopie Goldberg. Special guest Jane Krakwoski led the rehearsal with the kids along with the Radio City Rockettes, providing tips advice and comments on how to improve their technique, in dance and singing numbers, and how to find confidence in their own performance abilities. BroadwayWorld was on hand, and spoke with Jane about her experience with Garden of Dreams, where she finds her own inspiration, and when she might be returning to the stage.
