The National Tour of The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, announces a lottery ticket policy. Back by popular demand, The Book of Mormon which played a record-breaking three-week run in the fall of 2012 returns for a limited engagement today, October 22-November 24 at The Buell Theatre.

THE BOOK OF MORMON's tour stars Nic Rouleau and Ben Platt just announced via Twitter that they will soon join the Broadway company, replacing Matt Doyle (Elder Price) and Cody Jamison Strand (Elser Cunningham) respectively. Rouleau wrote: 'Thrilled to announce that Heavenly Father is sending me back to Broadway to serve another mission at @BookofMormon in January!!' Platt wrote: 'Bursting with excitement to finally announce that I will be joining the Broadway company of @BookofMormon this January!! #DreamComeTrue #NYC'

An exclusive pre-sale for American Express Cardmembers will begin at 6 PM on October 30 through 6 PM on November 1. THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins tonight, October 15 at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, October 27. In New Orleans, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office before each performance, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 each, cash only.

Team StarKid veteran A.J. Homes is set to join the cast of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, when it hits Omaha's Orpheum Theatre tomorrow, October 12. Holmes' credits include Frederick in Young Frankenstein (National Tour), and Henry in Next To Normal (Arizona Theatre Co. & SJ Rep.). A.J. composes for the Chicago-based theatre group StarKid Productions (A Very Potter Musical, Me And My Dick, Twisted). He is a graduate of University of Michigan.

General tickets go on sale today, September 21, for Tony Award-winner and two-time Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington as Walter Lee Younger in Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, opposite film, television and Tony Award-winning stage star Diahann Carroll as Lena Younger, in her first Broadway appearance in over 30 years. The production will be directed by Tony Award-nominee Kenny Leon. Previews begin March 8, 2014, with opening night on April 3, 2014 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street), where the original production of A Raisin in the Sun opened 55 years ago. Four theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 2013 Awards in a luncheon ceremony scheduled for October 21. Mimi Lien(Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Ann Roth (The Nance), Jane Cox (The Flick) andPeter Nigrini (Here Lies Love) will be honored with 2013 Henry Hewes Design Awards. Each of the four is receiving his or her first Henry Hewes Design Award. For the 2013 honors, 84 theater artists were nominated for outstanding artistry in 55 productions presented during the 2012-2013 New York theater season.
