Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, et al. Set for Soho Rep Gala, 5/2

Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and John Guare join the previously announced Blythe Danner, Ted Danson, Parker Posey, Peter Dinklage, Lili Taylor, Michael Stuhlbarg at the Soho Rep SPRING GALA 2011 honoring Marian Seldes. Co-hosted by Mr. Bogosian and Tim Blake Nelson the evening will also feature musical performances by Jomama Jones & The Lisps. The stage performance will feature scenes and songs from past and upcoming Soho Rep shows. Special musical guest will be Jomama Jones - who had a critically acclaimed run at Soho Rep earlier this season - in addition to The Lisps, performing a song from their new musical FUTURITY. 2011 FRIST FRIDAYS CONCERT SERIES Kicks Off

Frist Fridays, the Frist Center's popular summer concert series, kicks off May 27, 2011, with the Talking Heads tribute band Same As It Ever Was performing live in the Turner Courtyard.

Public Theater to Feature Works by Stew & Rodewald, Hwang, FEBRUARY HOUSE and More!

Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis announced the line-up today for The Public's 2011-2012 Season. The 56th Season will feature new works by Mike Daisey, Nathan Englander, David Henry Hwang, Richard Nelson, and Stew and Heidi Rodewald, as well as the premiere of FEBRUARY HOUSE, a new musical by Gabriel Kahane and Seth Bockley that is the first commission of The Public's Musical Theater Initiative.

Warhol Live Opens in Frist's Ingram Gallery, On View Thru 9/11

Warhol Live: Music and Dance in Andy Warhol's Work, the first exhibition to delve deeply into the roles music and dance played in the artist's life and work, opens at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts on June 24 in the Ingram Gallery and will remain on view through Sept. 11, 2011.

Whoopi Goldberg, Patrick Wilson Among Tribeca Film Fest Judges, 4/20-5/1

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, the Founding Sponsor of the Festival, today announced its jurors - a diverse and talented group of 38 individuals, including award-winning filmmakers and screenwriters, celebrated actors, respected journalists and media pioneers. They will be divided among the six competitive Festival categories and will announce the winning films, filmmakers and actors in those categories at the TFF Awards Night ceremony on April 28 hosted by Gideon Yago, which will be streamed live on TribecaFilm.com. The 2011 Festival runs from April 20 - May 1.
