Keb' Mo' Coming to Ridgefield Playhouse, 6/28

Three-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist and contemporary blues artist, Keb' Mo' has released his 12th studio album, titled Bluesamericana, which garnered a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album along with his Old Me Better for Best American Roots Performance. Over the past two decades, Keb' has cultivated a reputation as a modern master of American roots music through the understated excellence of his live and studio performances.

Grammy Winner Keb' Mo' to Perform at Syracuse Stage's Gala 2015

Three-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist and contemporary blues artist Keb' Mo' will perform live in concert at Gala 2015, Syracuse Stage's major annual fundraiser. The event will take place on Friday, June 19 in Goldstein Auditorium in Syracuse University's Schine Student Center.

On Aug. 12, 2015, The Charlie Daniels Band's legendary Volunteer Jam, a star-studded, multi-genre musical extravaganza that has featured artists like James Brown, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Don Henley and Lynyrd Skynyrd (to name a few), returns to Nashville. Producer Kevin McCollum has just announced that SOMETHING ROTTEN!, a completely original new musical comedy directed and choreographed by Tony-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy -winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, will begin previews March 23 and officially open April 22, 2015 at Broadway's St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).

SOMETHING ROTTEN! Heading to Broadway's St. James Theatre?

Earlier today it ws announced that Side Show will close at the St James Theatre in January, and according to the New York Times, Something Rotten! might takeover the space. A New York City developmental lab was held this fall, under the direction of Casey Nicholaw. Leading the cast (of the Lab, and not necessarily future productions) were Christian Borle, John Cariani, Allen Fitzpatrick, Brian d'Arcy James, Beth Leavel, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders, Jeff Steizter, and Gerry Vichi.

Georgia Stitt and Jason Robert Brown's 'Waiting for Wings' Featured on Cincinnati Pops' Album CARNIVAL OF ANIMALS

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announces the release of its latest album, Carnival of the Animals, under the direction of Pops Conductor John Morris Russell. The recording marks the 93rd Pops recording in its history (adding to an abundant legacy including a Grammy-winner) and the third under Mr. Russell. Carnival of the Animals will appear on the Orchestra's own label, Fanfare Cincinnati, and be distributed by Naxos.

ABC to Air DISSON SKATING's Colgate Skating Series This November

Disson Skating returns to the ice for its 25th year with the upcoming Colgate Skating Series airing exclusively on ABC. Each two-hour special in this milestone year will feature world-renowned Olympic figure skating champions and musicians, with select shows featuring the skaters' families, Olympic gymnasts and dancing professionals.
