Zap2it.com is reporting that select cities around the country will be hosting pre-screenings of the GLEE premiere prior to its mass broadcast on Fox on April 13. Sponsored by FOX, the paid screenings will be used as fundraisers to benefit the Grammy Foundation's 'Grammy in the Schools' music education programs. Pre-screenings begin on April 6. GLEE will return on April 13 with more than just new episodes. According to GLEE's official fan wiki, a third album will be released when episodes return. The album will be titled 'GLEE: The Music-The Power of Madonna.' The release will coincide with the shows much anticipated all-Madonna episode on April 21.
In November, GLEE aired an episode titled 'Wheels' which featured the character of Artie, who cannot walk. In the episode, the glee club didn't have the funding to afford a bus for regionals that could accommodate Artie and his wheelchair. The episode also featured two actresses with Down's Syndrome. The two actresses actually have Down's Syndrome, which drew attention to the fact that the actor who plays Artie, Kevin McHale, is not really disabled.

The stars of GLEE, FOX's musical hit, were on hand for a panel during the 27th Annual PaleyFest held at the Saban Theatre on Saturday, March 13, in Beverly Hills, California. The cast (minus Lea Michele who reportedly was in New York attending the GLAAD Awards ) and creative team talked about the show and also took time to sign autographs for fans.
The L.A. Times has confirmed that members of the GLEE cast will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey show on April 7, 2010, two days after the cast performs at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Oprah will interview Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Matthew Morrison, in addition to creator Ryan Murphy, who are so far scheduled to attend. The episode will, naturally, feature a performance. Oprah airs at 4:00pm EST on ABC.
