The Orchard Project announced its 2022 Lab programs as well as the names of participating artists and companies. The OP selected 38 projects or artistic teams from a competitive group of 1,417 applicants to participate in this year's programs.

Just last night, host committee members Betty Buckley, Misty Copeland, Kelli O'Hara, Bernadette Peters, and Janice Reals Ellig presented the 20th Anniversary of Nothing Like a Dame at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 W. 47th Street).

The Actors Fund presented Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky in a one-night-only concert performance of THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College (899 Tenth Ave.)

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, Broadway darling Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky are teaming up on a concert version of They're Playing Our Song to benefit The Actor's Fund on August 30 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College in New York City. They are joined onstage by Tyler Maynard, Matt Loehr, Jesse Nager, Amber Efe, Alex Ellis and Kaitlyn Davidson. The concert will be directed and choreographed by Denis Jones and musical directed by Steve Freeman.The first shots of the company in rehearsal have been released and appear below!

Broadway In Chicago is tickled pink to present LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL. Having won over audiences across the nation, our favorite blonde law student will make her Chicago debut for a four week limited engagement May 12 to June 7, 2009 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.).

The following day, Friday August 15th the casts of The Lion King, Enter Laughing, Hairspray, Godspell & Forbidden Broadway will be performing.

Laura Bell Bundy (Elle Woods), Orfeh (the beautician Paulette), Kate Shindle (Elle's nemesis Vivienne), Nicolette Hart (Brooke Wyndham) and more cast members from Legally Blonde celebrated Dashing Diva's 'Elle of a Pedicure' & 'Legally Blonde Pedicure Party' with a 'Bend & Snap' contest for their fans yesterday, June 26th.

Legally Blonde won the first annual Actors' Equity Association Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Award for Outstanding Chorus. This is the first industry award of its type to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by a chorus.

On Monday, June 4th, the cast of Legally Blonde will team up with America's Second Harvest and City Harvest to fight hunger.
