The nominations were released this morning for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. Reprise Theatre Company's 2011-2012 opens with the classic American musical 'Cabaret,' playing September 13 to 25 (press opening September 14, 2011) at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. The musical based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb; will be directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge.

Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours - in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
