Winner of 4 Tony Awards in 2014, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is a devilishly clever musical sendup of the British aristocracy circa 1909. Production-wise it's a class act all the way, and for its adult audiences, it's a delicious odyssey of. nonstop laughter. Now at the Ahmanson through May 1, the infectiously broad satire will have you on the edge of your seat throughout its two and a half hours. Skillfully executed by director Darko Tresnjak and his awe-inspiring cast, it's a surefire knock 'em dead hit.

Casting has been announced by producer Joey Parnes for the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder."  The musical opens at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on March 23 and playing through May 1, 2016. (There is one preview on March 22.)

Just in, the National Tour of FUN HOME, the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will officially launch this fall at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, running October 2-22, 2016.

Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre has a high-profile lineup slated for its 50th Anniversary Season.

The Young Vic's critically-acclaimed Olivier Award-winning production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge directed by Ivo van Hove, which opened to rave reviews at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre last fall, might be heading across the country. The LA Times' Charles McNulty writes in a recent interview with van Hove that the play will open at the Ahmanson Theatre in September. An official announcement has not yet been made.

Laura Benanti (Amalia), Zachary Levi (Georg), Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath (Sipos), Jane Krakowski (Ilona) and Byron Jennings (Maraczek) star in Roundabout's new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. SHE LOVES ME officially opens tonight, March 17, 2016, and runs through July 10, 2016 at Studio 54 on Broadway. Johnson that also inspired the legendary John Ford 1962 film, will extend through Saturday, March 26 at the Rubicon Theatre, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura. THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE is a classic tale of love, honor, ambition and revenge set against the backdrop of the American West.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle named the multi-nominated Hit the Wall and Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles as 2015's Outstanding Productions at the organization's 47th annual awards event, held on Monday evening, March 14 at the Moss Theatre of New Roads School in Santa Monica.

The battle between the sexes has always been a favorite topic for all types of literary works. With the onslaught in today's media of how women should look to attract men rather than being true to who they really are, playwright Sheila Callaghan has taken a very personal stand in her madcap new play WOMEN LAUGHING ALONE WITH SALAD, now presented in its West Coast premiere at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Directed by Neel Keller, with musical staging by Ken Roht, performances continue through April 3. The gender-bending cast includes Lisa Banes, Nora Kirkpatrick, David Clayton Rogers and Dinora Z. Walcott, all of whom plays both female and male characters!

The brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, premieres at Atlanta's Fox Theatre this week, March 1-6, 2016, as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2015/2016 season. 

Further casting has been announced for Samuel Beckett's masterful ENDGAME, directed by one of Beckett's most celebrated interpreters Alan Mandell at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre, April 24 through May 22, 2016. The opening is scheduled for May 1.

The 'Godly Conversations' will continue after the 8 p.m. performance tonight, February 25.
