Tickets to THE BOOK OF MORMON at Paramount Theatre On Sale 5/19

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking two week run in 2013, returns for a limited engagement. Seattle Theatre Group announced today that single tickets will go on sale Monday, May 19 at 10 am. Tickets will be available on-line at stgpresents.org and tickets.com. Tickets are also available by calling 877-STG-4TIX (784-4849) or in person at The Paramount Theatre Box Office (Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm).Group orders of 15 or more may be placed by calling 888-214-6856.

THE BOOK OF MORMON Comes to Segerstrom Center Tonight

Segerstrom Center for the Arts and THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, are pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the Orange County engagement, today, May 13 - 25, 2014. The production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Segerstrom Hall box office, making a limited number of tickets available for $25 each.

OPERA IN EDEN Set for Symphony Space, 6/16

Lawrence Edelson, Producing Artistic Director of American Lyric Theater (ALT), has announced that OPERA IN EDEN, an evening of one act operas written by Resident Artists from ALT's Composer Librettist Development Program, will return to the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space on Monday, June 16th, 2014, at 7:00 PM. Kimmel Center to Host 4th Annual FREE Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ Day, 6/7

The marathon of FREE Organ music returns as the Kimmel Center celebrates the Fourth Annual Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ Day on Saturday, June 7 in Verizon Hall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. "Fred" is as personable as pipe organs get, boasting 6,938 pipes that make it the largest mechanical action pipe organ in a concert venue in the United States.

THE BOOK OF MORMON Announces Lottery Ticket Policy for Ohio Theatre Run

The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the national tour, which begins May 13 at the Ohio Theatre and plays a limited two-week engagement through May 25. The wildly popular lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances. The producers of The Book of Mormon are pleased to offer low-priced lottery seats for every city on the national tour.

Broadway Artists Alliance, a New York City-based musical theatre training program, kicked off their 10th season with a star-studded concert as part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series on Monday night. Performers, as well as instructors and alumni sang their all-time favorite show tunes. The cast included Laura Benanti (left, by Seth Walters), Jenn Colella, Andrea Burns, David Ayers, and Heather Parcells, who were joined by BAA Alumni Liz Byrne, Emma Howard, Kyle Taylor Parker, Ruby Rakos, Emerson Steele, Bethany Tesarck, and Clay Thomson. Proceeds from this event will benefit the BAA scholarship fund, which provides $10,000 in scholarships each year.
