First Song Released From STEPHEN WARD Cast Recording, '1963'

The first full song from the original cast recording Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Christopher Hampton's highly anticipated new West End musical STEPHEN WARD has been unveiled - a spirited, swingin' ditty titled '1963', also featuring a dialogue scene and dramatic final coda.

The publication reports that the acclaimed composer will launch a campaign tomorrow with Mandy Rice-Davies and lawyer Geoffrey Robertson, petitioning to 'overturn the 50 year guilty verdict of the man at the centre of the Profumo affair, claiming he was let down by friends who wanted to save themselves.'

Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest musical, STEPHEN WARD, is just days away from beginning performance in London's West End. In anticipation, the acclaimed composer opened up to The Telegraph, telling them that he believes the modern musical has left music behind - and he hopes 'WARD' can break today's mold.

New York Artist Debbie Davies Exhibits THE I LOVE YOU PROJECT, Now thru 9/27

New York artist Debbie Davies & German artist Julius Schon brought 'The I Love You Project' to Berlin during the 48-Hour Neukolln Festival in June 2013 at Schillerpalais Gallery. Now Davies and Schon return to Schillerpalais to exhibit portraits of the participants photographed in the Spring, using a digital microscope camera. Davies will also exhibit her earlier digital microscope self portraits, including some erotica. Paper assemblages from her 'This Page Intentionally Left Blank' series using recycled materials will also be exhibited during this two-person show September 14-27.

One Night with Janis Joplin runs June 21-August 11, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's STEPHEN WARD Eyes Aldwych Theatre as West End Home

According to the Daily Mail, Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical STEPHEN WARD is eyeing the Aldwych Theatre as its West End home, with hopes to begin rehearsals in October in time for November previews. Its said that Lloyd Webber is also considering two other theaters in case Top Hat, which is currently running at the Aldwych, doesn't close in time for STEPHEN WARD.
