DE NOVO Plays Passage Theatre Company 9/10-18

Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company, will present Houses of the Moon Theater Company's production of De Novo, a documentary theater piece about undocumented minors seeking asylum from U.S. immigration custody, for four performances only September 10, 11, 17 and 18 at the Mill Hill Playhouse, located at the corner of Front and Montgomery in downtown Trenton.

INVASION! -- Jonas Hassen Khemiri's Obie Award-winning play that enjoyed considerable critical and popular success during its U.S. premiere by The Play Company last winter -- will have a return engagement Off-Broadway this fall, again presented by The Play Company, opening on September 13 at The Flea Theater (41 White Street) in Manhattan, where PlayCo will be based for the 2011-12 season, it has been announced by Kate Loewald, Founding Producer, and Lauren Weigel, Executive Producer of The Play Company. Erica Schmidt will again direct.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) announced today Dublin's CIRQUE DE LÉGUME will play 1st Irish at 59E59 Theaters. Created by and featuring Jaimie Carswell and Nancy Trotter and directed by Pablo Ibarluzea, CIRQUE DE LÉGUME begins performances on Tuesday, September 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 2. Press opening is Sunday, September 11 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $25 ($17.50 for 59E59 Members). Due to popular demand, and to accommodate ticket holders affected by the cancellation of performances due to Hurricane Irene this past weekend, Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) has added a special performance on Sunday afternoon, September 4th at 3:00 p.m. to the World Premiere of a work commissioned by the company, the new comedy, Olive and the Bitter Herbs by Charles Busch directed by Mark Brokaw.
