Willie; The Genius

ILLIE the GENIUS is an Afro-Queer visual and performance artist from Houston currently residing in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn who creates radical revolutionary art. Their work challenges social norms and calls for a complete dismantling of the current social system while offering a new all-inclusive narrative through music, painting, mixed media, film, and other performing arts.

WILLIE is a 2021 artist-in-residence at the People’s Theater Project where they are currently writing, producing, and starring in their solo theater and late-night talk show, “WILLIE GETS NAKED!” and planning an off-Broadway debut Summer 2021 as well as in pre- production of their scripted comedy-drama series “Will of Fortune”.
