Hot New Vocalist Tay Anderson Comes to Cabaret At Winter Park Playhouse This July
Krista Knowles Powerhouse musical theatre performer, Tay Anderson, will take the cabaret stage at The Winter Park Playhouse to premiere her latest solo cabaret, I Was Here, in the theatre's Spotlight Cabaret Series July 18 and 19. Playhouse Musical Director, Christopher Leavy, will accompany on piano.
Ms. Anderson is one of the area's fresh hot talents lighting up the stages of Central Florida. She has studied musical theatre at both Wright State and Millikin University where she excelled as a triple threat in acting, voice and dance.
Tay was last seen on The Winter Park Playhouse mainstage in Life Could Be A Dream (Fall 2017), and has been carrying principle roles in productions at The Garden Theatre and Orlando Repertory Theatre, among others.
Ms. Anderson can also be seen working at The Walt Disney World Resort at the Frozen Sing-A-Long Celebration and the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.
Join Tay as she brings her spunky charm and tremendous vocals to the songs of musical theatre composing giants such as Kander and Ebb, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, and Andrew Lloyd Webber to name a few. Additionally, I Was Here gives a nod to legendary and current Broadway vocalists like Judy Garland, Bernadette Peters, and Sutton Foster. This is a cabaret evening not to be missed!
