Chase Padgett, an Orlando musician/actor/comedian, brings his one man show 6 Guitars to the State Theatre for three performances January 11, 12, and 13.

Padgett, known to local audiences for his work at SAK Theatre, delivers a true tour-de-force as he becomes six different guitar players – each with his own voice, views, and music. Featuring original songs and well-known standards from rock, country and blues to jazz, folk and even classical, this show takes the audience on a hilarious and inspiring journey. It's a one-of-a-kind show about music, love and lessons learned.

6 Guitars has been a success at the largest arts festivals in the world – including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011 and the Edmonton Fringe Festival in 2011 and 2012 – and enjoyed an Off-Broadway run for the entire month of October, 2011.

Curtain times are January 11 and 12 at 8:00pm, January 13 at 2:00pm. All tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling the box office at 352-357-7777 or you may purchase online at baystreetplayers.org.
