The Tank Presents I LOVED SAM STONE, Thru October 23

By:

I LOVED SAM STONE - winner of the SLAM Playwriting Competition - follows two college freshmen through the boundaries of friendship and the consequences of confronting the truth.

Brett Epstein's I LOVED SAM STONE was first presented in Cranston, Rhode Island's Artists Exchange Theatre in August 2009. After winning the SLAM Playwriting Competition in May 2011, the play received a staged reading at The Tank for a standing-room only audience. The Tank is now presenting a limited engagement from October 6 through October 23 of a play that audiences and industry have called "brilliant," "hilarious," "unpredictable," "moving," and "the perfect balance of comedy and drama."

I LOVED SAM STONE follows two college freshmen through their first year of being away from home, from the awkward move-in day all the way to the challenging summer sendoffs. The play explores the dynamic between Ben (Brett Epstein) and Sam (David Jackson) as a friendship seemingly simple and rewarding turns into something that neither one ever saw coming.

Show runs 2 hours with an intermission.

Buy tickets for I LOVED SAM STONE on Brown Paper Tickets.

Please join the cast & crew for a complimentary reception with beverages, FREE with your ticket to the OPENING performance.
