The Brick Theater Presents THE LITTLE CHAOS Thru 4/27
By: Gabrielle Sierra
The Brick Theater, Inc. presents THE LITTLE CHAOS, based on the 1969 Rainer Werner Fassbinder film, Love is Colder than Death
Based on the 1969 Rainer Werner Fassbinder film Love is Colder than Death, The Little Chaos is the story of "poor souls who didn't know what to do with themselves, who were simply set down, as they are, and who weren't given a chance" (as Fassbinder himself put it).
Franz, Bruno and Johanna protect themselves against possible threats, growing syndicates and the police by forming a group of their own. Together they will fight boredom and conformance, and everything and everyone that comes in between...Inspired by spaghetti westerns and Hollywood gangster films (in the vein of Raoul Walsh), the show depicts a Munich of chain-smokers, fat prostitutes and troubled youths.Performances April 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 at 8pm, April 27 at 7pm
