Musicals Tonight opens its 12th season with Lerner & Loewe classic Paint Your Wagon (1951- 289 performances). The show features such classic songs as I Talk to the Trees; They Call the Wind Maria; I Still See Elisa. The dates: October 20 - Sunday November 1
Immediately following will be Cole Porter's Silk Stockings (1955 - 478 performances). Songs include: Paris Loves Lovers; Stereophonic Sound; It's A Chemical Reaction; All of You. The dates: November 3 - 15
The spring season begins with Stop the World...I Want to Get Off by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley (1962 - 555 performances). Songs include: Gonna Build a Mountain; What Kind of Fool Am I?; Typically English. The dates: February 23 - March 7
Immediately following will be Kander and Ebb's The Rink (1984 - 204 performances). Songs include: Colored Lights; Not Enough Magic; Marry Me; What Happened to the Old Days? The dates: March 9 - 21
The final production will be Noel Coward's Sail Away (1961 - 167 performances). Songs include: Why Do the Wrong People Travel?; Don't Turn Away From Love; Later Than Spring; Sail Away. The dates: April 13 - April 25
Musicals Tonight will beperforming at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre (2162 Broadway between 76th and 77th Streets) a 99-seat with a ticket price of $20. Season tickets will go on sale shortly - individual tickets will be available for sale after Labor Day.
