Herb Newsome To Return To United Solo Festival with R.L. AT THE CROSSROADS, 11/11 & 11/17
After the success of his previous One- Man Show Free Man in Paris, Actor Herb Newsome returns to the United Solo Festival with his latest One Man performance R.L. AT THE CROSSROADS. The play is written by Steve Broadnax and Charles Dumas and is directed by Steve Broadnax (Head of Graduate Acting at Penn State University).
Bluesman Robert Johnson stands trial at the crossroads. With the Devil as judge and jury, he tries to overturn a deal gone bad. The battle for his soul begins. The play is a multimedia piece with video, live music and one actor playing 8 characters.
R.L. AT THE CROSSROADS takes place on November 11th and November 17th at 7:30 pm at United Solo Festival, Theater Row, located on 410 West 42nd Street, New York, NY.
