David Gonzalez Brings THE FROG BRIDE to Tribeca 11/22

By:

Storyteller, poet and performer David Gonzalez will bring his family hit THE FROG BRIDE to life at Tribeca Performing Arts Center, directed by Lenard Petit. Gonzalez's show has been entertaining schools and NYC children for over 10 years as part of the Lincoln Center Institute. The performance will compliment the upcoming DVD release of the show.

"When a King sends his three sons to find their brides, two return with fair ladies. The last returns with... A FROG?!"

THE FROG BRIDE is a hip adaptation of a classic Russian tale. Two outstanding musicians play an original jazz-funk score, as David performs every role against a backdrop of stunning live video projection and moving images.

Tribeca Performing Arts Center is located at 199 Chambers Street (between Greenwich & West Side Highway).  The performance will take place on Sunday, November 22 @ 1:30pm. $25 general admission (All ages). To order tickets call (212) 220-1460 or visit http://www.tribecapac.org
