The Slant Theatre Project has presents Thomas Ward's BINGE.  The cast will feature Brent Bateman, John G. Preston, Therese Barbato, and David Lee Nelson.  The production will be directed by Adam Knight

The Facebook page's description of the play reads, "Doug Barnes wants to have gastric bypass surgery. But before he can, he has to endure a barrage of personal questions from his surgeon, the matchmaking efforts of his best friend, and an infatuation with the new pizza delivery gir...l. With two weeks to eat like there's no tomorrow, Doug is forced to confront his insecurities, his vanity, and the true motive behind so-called 'self-improvement.'"

BINGE will run from July 29 to August 8 at New York's Drilling Company Theatre, 236 West 78th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam).  To purchase tickets, which are $18, visit www.theatermania.com or call (212) 352-3101.
