'THE TORTOISE & THE HARE'S HOLIDAY HOOP-LA!' Opens 12/7
The Limecat Family Theatre Company will present a new holiday musical comedy "THE TORTOISE & THE HARE'S HOLIDAY HOOP-LA!" at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street (west of 8th Avenue) beginning Sunday, December 7th at 2 PM. The family musical about friendship, teamwork and holiday spirit has a colorful cast of animal friends, snowflakes, dancing matzo-balls and hum-bugs, as Terri Tortoise and Harry Hare race through adventurous terrain to Animal Lands Holiday Hoop-La, hosted by the magical Princess Catnip. The musical is suitable for children age 3 years and older. There will be special Giveaways for children at every performance.
Written and directed by Denise Devin, the musical features 15 original songs by Christopher Reiner and Ms. Devin. The production has been designed by Jeri Batzdorff and Jana Wimer.
Performances begin December 7th and continue through January 4th. The performance schedule is: Fridays @ 7pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 2 & 4pm. Special added holiday performances: December 26, 29 and 30 @2 PM.
