Son of Thunder Productions and Alternative Advertising are proud to present the new comedy, The Set Up, written and directed by James Lindenberg, featuring Scott Cunningham, Jennifer Danielle, Major Dodge, James Lindenberg, Tracy Weiler, and Tara Westwood.

The Set Up will begin performances at ArcLight Theatre (152 West 71st Street) on Friday, April 25th and continue through Thursday May 22nd. Opening Night is set for Wednesday, April 30th.

James Lindenberg studied Acting, Writing and Directing at Hofstra University and The Goodman School. Directing credits include David Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Edward Albee's A Zoo Story, as well as his own projects, Arthur's Big Day in Miss Julie's Tap Class, The Magic Box and a one act version of The Set Up. Most recently he has been seen acting in FOX's, "New Amsterdam," the History Channel's "Gangland" and the remake of "The Little Fugitive."
The Set Up will have set design by Josh Starr, lighting design by Dan Hansell and original music and sound design by Jose Conde.                                                   

Scott Douglas Cunningham is a graduate of the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting and a charter member of John Dapolito's Master Class for the Working Actor. Numerous NY stage appearances include Boys in the Band, Pvt. Wars, Chalk and Talk, and Two Boys in a Bed on a Cold Winter's Night directed by David Drake. He most recently starred in A Corner of a Morning at La Mama ETC, a revival of the first original work produced there.  Scott has done commercials, soaps, industrials, print and is especially proud of his voiceover work in the Japanese anime porn Immoral Sisters Two.

Jennifer Danielle most recently appeared as Rita in a revival of Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? Other lead roles in NYC include productions of Cinderella and the original comedy Sextangle, the lead role of Sabine in Classic Caprice and Mickie in Brian Beatty's Clown College. In the past year and a half, Jennifer has wrapped four lead roles in independent films, including Breathtaking, Prey, The Morning After and Survival, and is now filming the lead female role in the independent feature Sensory Perception. She has appeared on Women's Entertainment Network's movie show Cinematherapy and was a featured cabaret dancer and singer with The New York City Kitties.

Major Dodge was most recently seen as Officer Norville on "Law and Order Criminal Intent." Off-Broadway credits include The Awesome 80s Prom, Rebel Without a Cause, Angry Young Women in Low-Rise Jeans with High Class Issues. Off-Off-Broadway: Count Down, Batman Begins Live, and Burn This. Film: A Dangerous Place (upcoming), 39 (upcoming), Go Down to Jordan (upcoming) Manifesto (upcoming), Rebel, Wicked Desire and The Lady Killers.  TV: "Sex and The City." 

Tracy Weiler's NYC credits include, Now That You've Seen Me Naked, Jet Pack Go, Twelve Night, Snapshots and 365 Plays/365 Days. She is an improv girl at heart and enjoys performing a little stand-up every now and again.

Tara Westwood has been featured as Liz Morin in "Cashmere Mafia." Other TV credits include "Knights of Prosperity," "CSI Miami," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and "Ed." Her theatrical debut was in The Pineapple at the Cherry Lane Theater. She studies at the Maggie Flanigan Studio.

The Set Up will begin performances at ArcLight Theatre (152 West 71st Street) on Friday, April 25th and continue through Thursday May 22nd. Opening Night is set for Wednesday, April 30th. Performances will be Wednesday to Saturday evenings at 8 pm with matinees Sunday at 3pm
