On Wednesday October 25th "Growing Up Gonzales", Off Broadway's sleeper success story of the year, takes the stage for a benefit performance for the suffering Americans in Puerto Rico.

At a time when Puerto Ricans, Nuyoricans and Latinos in general seek nostalgia, comfort and stories from home, Growing Up Gonzales takes the lead. Part heart wrenching drama, part side splitting comedy and part cultural tourism, this one man play is taking heart broken and homeless Latino souls and setting a place for them at the table. Welcome home to GROWING UP GONZALES.

Growing Up Gonzales is a ONE-MAN full length Off Broadway play about two Nuyorican brothers in search of love and forgiveness. One brother dies and the other brother, dead in spirit, comes alive while cleaning out his deceased brother's apartment. Regular performances of Gonzales are every Saturday at 8pm. Check website for schedule.

The Benefit show is being hosted by the non-profit organization The 100 Hispanic Men Inc. and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the hardest hit municipalities in Puerto Rico.
