The Off Broadway Theatre, celebrating 15 years of comedy, is pleased to announce the opening of Forever Dead, a hilarious parody of the popular musical, Forever Plaid by Stuart Ross on Friday September 25th. Curtain rises at 7:30 PM. Seating is reserved.

The full moon awakens the old groove of Bloodz (Dracula), Frankie (Frankenstein), Barky (Werewolf), and Sphinx (Mummy) - a revival of loveable losers who missed their "true callings"; together again, their one shot to share their love of singing together in a real theater. Once a troupe of misfits who spent a considerable amount of time in the basement of Sphinx's Pyramid home lip-syncing to the bee-bopping tunes of their favorite bands, are now on stage with music, a live band and comedy.

An Off Broadway Theatre original production, Forever Dead was written by local Producer and Actor Eric Jensen, a fan of the Forever Plaid production, who has added his unique flair of lyrical charm to the music of known favorites such as Three Coins in a Fountain and Crazy About You, Baby. The production includes a live three-piece band, on-stage.

"Forever Dead is one of the most requested and beloved shows in OBT history," said Director Mike Brown, "it is a crowd favorite!". "This is great fun for all - the live music is exciting and the four characters have committed such energy into each rehearsal - it will be something to see".

The Off Broadway Theatre (OBT) has been producing remarkable original parodies and musicals for the past 15 years. Wonderful local actors who are passionate about entertainment and comedy have contributed to the long-running success. Mike Brown, Director; Jill Stark, Choreographer; Melissa Singleton, Costumes; and the acting talents of Scott Bahlmann, Joel Hanson, Eric Jensen and Jim Hardwick.
