The Off-Broadway hit comedy Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE! will bring its lighthearted life lessons to Starlight Theatre's indoor stage for four performances only Nov. 3-5. This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up comedy is based on The New York Times best-selling book by U.S. author John Gray.

The show is the second of five productions featured in Starlight's 2016-17 indoor series, which is staged in the theatre's heated Cohen Community Stage House.

When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are apparently earth-shatteringly funny. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE! touches upon everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom. Sexy and fast-paced,

the show is definitely for adults, but it leaves audiences giggling like children.

According to the show's producer, St. Louis-based Emery Entertainment, Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE! "is a great recipe for a date night out. Storytelling blended with comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book makes for a delicious evening of entertainment!"

The show launched in Paris in 2007 and has been seen by more than 1 million people across Europe. It debuted in North America in Raleigh, N.C., in February 2013 and has played to U.S. and Canadian audiences ever since.

Gray's No. 1 bestseller "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus," published in 1992, has sold more than 50 million copies, been translated into more than 40 languages and become one of the most recognizable titles in the world for its exploration of the differences between the sexes. Gray has gone on to write numerous books and become a highly trusted relationship author, traveling the national lecture circuit and appearing on TV shows including "Good Morning America," "Oprah" and "Larry King Live."

The Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus LIVE! creative team includes award-winning playwright Eric Coble and Broadway veteran director Mindy Cooper, with animation and video production by Bazillion Productions. Producer Emery Entertainment has produced and promoted thousands of events worldwide, including superstar attractions Blue Man Group, David Copperfield and James Taylor.
