Media Theatre Presents LIVES AND LOVES OF WWII'S FINEST 5/15
Actor John Jarboe, seen by Media Theatre audiences as Frank in "Show Boat" and as Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz" this season, returns in his own cabaret performance Saturday night May 15. His show, "Back in The Army", will take place one night only at 11pm following the evening's Broadway Series performance of "Rent".
"Back In The Army", in the theatre's Crystal Room known as the 104 East Cabaret, explores the lives and longings of WWII Army men through the music of their time. Featuring such classics as "Why do they Call a Private a Private?", "The Army's Made a Man Out of Me?", and "I'll Be Seeing You," this cabaret features the Manliest of men, Men who long for that girl back home, and Men who long to be with men. Conceived and performed with the talents of 11th Hour Music Director Daniel Kazemi and featuring Liz Filios and John Greenbaum, the hour of drag, drama, and revelry will put hair on your
chest and curlers in your hair.
