Marty Thomas, best known for his Broadway appearances in XANADU, WICKED and THE SECRET GARDEN, takes over the role of Andrew, one of the prospective bridegrooms, in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING beginning Jan. 13 at Off-Broadway's St. Luke's Theatre.

The production currently features Anthony J. Wilkinson, Gregg Baker, Eric Carpenter, Brett Douglas, Liz Gerecitano, Leah Gerstel, Randi Kaplan, Chad Kessler, Carla-marie Mercun, Marissa Perry, Meagan Robar, Joe Scanio, Adam Shorsten, Billy Yoder and Adam Zelasko. Teresa A. Cicala directs.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding is described as such: "Planning a weddingcan be hell... or a hell of a lot of fun! Two handsome grooms, one overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of kooky family and friends all gather
together for Off-Broadway's newest laugh-out-loud comedy with a heart."

The production also features choreography by J. Austin Eyer, scenic design by Rob Santeramo,
costume design by Philip Heckman, lighting design by Graham Kindred, choreography by J. Austin
Eyer, original music and lyrics by David James Boyd, scenic design by Rob Santeramo, costume

A Grammy Nominated Recording artist, Marty has been seen on Broadway in XANADU, WICKED
and THE SECRET GARDEN. In 2008, he won the title of Mr. Broadway! He was named a 1992
Junior Vocalist Ed McMahon's Star Search Champion beating out a then unknown Britney Spears. He toured Europe with the famed Harlem Gospel Singers, as the first Caucasian member in their history. He has appeared on MTV, VH1, The Tony Awards, The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, The View, Talk Soup and was featured in the Film "The Big Gay Musical."
