10 Million Miles features music and lyrics by Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Patty Griffin ("Impossible Dream"), a book by Keith Bunin (The Credeaux Canvas) and direction by Tony Award-nominee Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening). 10 Million Miles plays through Sunday, July 15th, 2007.

"With a voice that has been compared to the smooth tones of Alison Kraus and the emotion of Emmylou Harris, Winningham is one of America's most highly regarded performing artists.  She has appeared on stage, screen, and in over sixty movies for television and has been honored with an Academy Award nomination, two Emmy Awards, an Independent Spirit Award, a Golden Globe Award nomination, two Screen Actor's Guild nominations, and a Peabody Award for Excellence in Television," state press notes.

"Winningham rose to fame with her performance in the coming of age film St. Elmo's Fire, and over the last two decades, the former 'Brat packer' has built a fan base from years of acclaimed and diverse roles including her celebrated turn as a legendary folk singer in the film Georgia and her recent role on the hit series 'Grey's Anatomy.'  As a singer and musician, she has also toured across the country.  Winningham recently released her third studio album 'Refuge Rock Sublime,' a recording of original Jewish country/folk songs with a unique take on traditional Jewish themes. Her other albums include 'What Might Be' (1992) and 'Lonesomers' (1998)."

10 Million Miles plays Tuesday through Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. at Atlantic Theater Company at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Tickets are $65.00 and available by calling Ticket Central at 212-279-4200 (www.ticketcentral.com).
