Cast member and understudy Corinne Melançon, now appearing in Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! on Broadway, will be featured on the American Theatre Wing's televised "Working in the Theatre" series in a special panel on the Broadway understudy entitled "Waiting in the Wings" this Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. on CUNY - TV (Channel 75 in the New York metropolitan area).

The panel that will offer viewers a behind the scenes look at the indispensible role of the Broadway understudy will also feature Tony Carlin (Time Stands Still), Bryan Fenkhart (Memphis), Jay Russell (Our Town) and Paul A. Schaefer (The Phantom of the Opera).

An acclaimed fixture on New York television and in the theatre community for 30 years, the American Theatre Wing's "Working in the Theatre" offers an unprecedented forum for the meeting of theatrical minds.

The "Waiting in the Wings" panel that will debut on CUNY TV on Sunday, May 2 at 5:00 p.m. will have subsequent airings on Friday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday, May 9 at 5:00 p.m. The program will also be available online at americantheatrewing.org/wit/ and iTunes.com beginning Monday, May 3.
