LYSISTRATA Plays As Part Of NY International Fringe Festival 8/21-29
No.11 Productions presents Lysistrata as part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYCFringeAL FRESCO Performance Series. This sharp, witty and timely adaptation is accessible to theatergoers of all ages and keeps the audience constantly laughing. The women of Athens, led by Lysistrata, "refuse to open the gates of Greece." The men have quite a hard time as they battle the women for a little loving attention as well as funding for the war. This production is a farcical, fresh and fun look at Aristophanes' hysterical play.
