Full Cast And Creative Team Announced For FunikiJam's Spring Celebration

The Off-Broadway Family Musical, starring Brian Barrentine, has completed its casting.

Parent's Choice Award-winning writer and director Brian Barrentine as Captain Jam will be joined by resident music director, Ryan McCurdy (Broadway Cares at the New Amsterdam and Minskoff), Pearl Rhein (Broadway's Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Belgian born American Light Designer and Production Manager Maarten Cornelis (Carnegie Hall, "Frankenstein," "Wicked Frozen," and "It Came from Beyond."

Joining the cast are Italian American actor Andrea Galata (Best Actor at the Catania International Film Festival) Argentinian songbird Victoria Raigorodksy, Damien Alix-Souhabi from Montreal Quebec, and Nashville's Kaila Wooten in her Off-Broadway debut.

ABOUT THE SHOW: When Captain Jam accepts a special mission to defeat The Anti-Music Association's plans to cancel Spring, he and his Agents of Jam invite audience members - as "new recruits" to explore Europe, South America, and Nashville in order to find the perfect place for Spring Celebration Day. This lively show -- aimed at kids ages 2 to 10 - features original songs, stories, and rhymes that encourage audience members to get out of their seats to dance and sing along when Music Garden sprouts up at the Actors' Temple Theatre in the heart of the theatre district.

The limited engagement, which opens April 14th at Actors Temple Theatre, features special performances for Earth Day, Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day Performances, and is part of FunikiJam's 12 week city-wide "Music Garden" program of classes & events geared for young children and families.
